Somercotes Local History Society (SLHS) is holding its third Annual Heritage Day from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, 8th November 2014, at the Village Hall, Nottingham Road, Somercotes.

Last year over 300 people attended the event that had 11 organisations including SLHS, JACH's (Jacksdale), The Magic Attic, DARG, Alfreton Heritage Trust, Terry Tomilinson & John Hayes Photograph exhibition, Cromford Canal Society and others who will again be attending this year.

Please bring along any historical information you may have including photographs, deeds, local interest stories, old newspaper cuttings, books with local historical information or even your own memories.

Everyone is welcome to attend and entry is 'FREE'. Light refreshments will be available at a reasonable charge.
