The Birdcage Tearooms opened on 26th November 2016.  Owners Richard & Mel have brought their Tea Room experience from Cromford to Leabrooks along with their unique style, talent for quirkiness and huge personalities.

A chance to unwind in the welcoming atmosphere and relaxing surroundings. Richard & Mel are all about treating customers to that personal touch with fine bone china, a very tempting Menu of freshly cooked food to order and scrumptious Afternoon Teas.

‘The Birdcage’ as inspired by the film of the same name, starring the late Robin Williams. 

Private parties are now being catered for along with ‘Themed Evenings’, the most recent being a 1940’s night with entertainment and a themed 3 course meal.

What is not to like?  And if all this isn’t tempting a visit to see and hear Gay’org (named after Georg Von Trapp (Sound of Music)), the resident canary, is an absolute must.
