Due to continuing financial pressure, the Parish Council at its meeting on 19th January 2018, took the decision to increase the precept by 3% for 2018/19.  The ‘precept’ is the amount of money collected with the Council Tax for Parish Council services and activities. 

Whilst this is regretted, the increase was necessary to continue to deliver and maintain valued services in the Parish, part of which includes litter picking, footpath clearance, landscaping and general maintenance, monthly skip provision and management of the Village Hall .

In addition to maintaining and delivering these servicesarish, the Council supports many community groups and initiatives which contribute to and enhance village life.  An increase in precept will allow the Council to maintain this support whilst continuing to improve facilities for the local community..  v
