Somercotes History Society Makes Rare Find

The secretary of Somercotes Local History Society made a rare find on e-bay - a Goss China Commemorative Army Bottle, based on the area where the men who served at Waterloo were located in barracks on their return. The small china copy shows an emblem, believed to be one of Oakes furnaces and has ‘Somercotes’ in the emblem.
