Excellence In The Community Awards

Kath Holmes of Somercotes Rainbows, Dot Lancaster of Somercotes Guides and Fran Lewis of Pennytown Court Friendship Group were all awarded Excellence in the Community Awards at the Devonshire Dome, Buxton, on Tuesday 13th October, for their voluntary services to the community.
They had been nominated for these annual awards by Paul Smith, County Councillor and Chairman of Somercotes Parish Council. The presentations were made by Councillor Robin Baldry, Chairman of Derbyshire County Council.
