Local resident, Eileen Kirk recently entered her book, 'Ordinary Lives' into the BBC's 'My Story' competition.
A shorted version of the story is available on the BBC web site until the 6th January 2010 when the competition is judged.
The eight-minute read contains several references to Pennytown and may be of interest to the Pennytown Ponds group and other local residents.
