Following confirmation that the bus operator K & H Doyle has ceased trading with immediate effect, Derbyshire County Council have procured replacements for their contracted local bus services with effect from 15 January 2014.

Five services did not operate today on Tuesday 14th January, 143, 148, 151, 152 and 331, but DCC have managed to reinstate four local bus services in the Alfreton, Ripley and Belper areas.  The 331 service which was operated commercially by Doyles is not being replaced, most of its route was in Nottinghamshire and the part within Derbyshire is covered by other bus services.  The only part unserved will be the Pinxton church area.
 
From Wednesday 15th January, Yourbus will operate the 143, 148, 151 and 152 services.  The previous Doyles drivers have been taken on by Yourbus and so will be familiar with the route, timetable and stops, none of which will change.
