Hello Everyone just a little update from Amber Valley CVS we hope you are all staying positive during these tough times.. remember we are all in this together
The following information is constantly available and updating in Amber Valley and Derbyshire
Covid Mutual Aid Groups are registering here https://covidmutualaid.org
Derbyshire County Council are soon to launch their Community Response Unit https://www.derbyshire.gov.uk/social-health/health-and-wellbeing/health-protection/disease-control/coronavirus/community-response-unit/community-response-unit.aspx
For those that are looking to help you will find lots of information on our CVS website https://avcvs.org/cvs-news
For anyone who is extremely vulnerable you can register for help here https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus-extremely-vulnerable
Register if you have a medical condition that makes you extremely vulnerable to coronavirus. For example, you’ll be able to ask for help getting deliveries of essential supplies like food.
If you’re not sure whether your medical condition makes you extremely vulnerable, register anyway.
You can register yourself, or on behalf of someone else.
Our office continues to man the phones. Help at Home is available but unfortunately we are not offering cleaning, however we are stepping up our shopping service!
The volunteering department is very much open and we are here to take your offers of help for our community and to support groups with information during this tough time.
Stay well.
