Somercotes Parish Council Has Two Councillor Vacancies Following The Recent Local Elections.

Parish councilors represent the views of their community. If you would like to have your say in local matters, please forward your details to info@somercotesparishcouncil.org.uk or telephone: Clerk on 01773 603810 to obtain an application form.

Applicants will be invited to the Annual Parish Council Meeting on the 19th May 2023, were they will be given five minutes to introduce themselves, give information on their background/experience and explain why they wish to become a councilor.

NOTE: To become a councillor you must have lived or worked in the parish for at least 12 months; live within 3 miles of the parish boundary and you must be on the electoral role.
