Members of the Church of St. Thomas provide lunch on the last Friday of the month, in the lounge of the Parish Hall, from 11.30 am and 1.30 pm, and a better bargain would be hard to find!

For just £2, you can choose from two different soups, usually home-made, followed by a roll and either ham or cheese.  Help yourself to pickles – usually beetroot and ploughman’s pickle. 

The ladies will then bring you tea or coffee, and a plate of home made cakes for you to choose from. 

The atmosphere is friendly and the service is very good.

Lent Lunches are served every Friday during the Lent period, and members of Birchwood Methodist Church do the  lunches on alternate weeks during this time.
