Come and join us for the Annual Carol Service.
The Annual Carol Service will be held on Friday, 9th December, 2011, at St. Thomas’ Church, Nottingham Road, Somercotes, at 7.30 pm, followed by refreshments in Somercotes Parish Hall.
We’re pleased to say the members of Somercotes Girl Guides, Brownies and Rainbows Choir have agreed to perform for us again this year.
Heage Band will be playing the Christmas carols for us, and will also play their own choice of Christmas melodies.
Councillor Paul Smith, Chairman of the Parish Council, has chosen the Parish Church of St. Thomas as the recipient of the collection this year.
After the service you can walk across to the Parish Hall for a drink and a mince pie.
